GENERAL ADMISSIONS

No. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Admission may depend on review of the application, required documents, any relevant assessment or interview, year-level placement considerations and availability of places.

The current STEAMBRIDGE application form includes PG, Nursery, KG I, KG II and Year 1 through Year 5. Final year-level placement is confirmed through the School’s admissions review process.

Families are encouraged to learn about the School before making an admission decision. You may contact the Admissions Team or use the Book a Tour option to arrange a campus visit.

STEAMBRIDGE follows a Cambridge-focused academic pathway enriched through purposeful STEAM learning, practical exploration and future-ready learning experiences.

02

APPLICATION & DOCUMENTS

Yes. Families can complete the online application through the Apply Now page. The official PDF application form is also available for families who prefer an offline format.

Depending on the applicant’s circumstances, supporting documents may include:

  • Recent passport-size photographs of the student
  • Birth Certificate or Passport copy
  • Previous academic reports or transcripts
  • Transfer Certificate where applicable
  • Vaccination and immunization records
  • Parent or legal guardian identification
  • Relevant certificates or co-curricular records

Previous school reports or academic records may be requested where applicable. They help the Admissions Team understand the student’s academic background and support appropriate placement.

You may contact the Admissions Team for guidance. The School may advise which documents are essential for initial review and which may be provided later, depending on the applicant’s circumstances.

03

ASSESSMENT & PLACEMENT

An assessment, student interaction, interview or additional information may be requested depending on the applicant’s age, year of entry and individual circumstances.

Placement may consider the student’s age, previous class or year attended, academic records, learning background, readiness and any relevant assessment or interaction.

No. Age is one consideration, but the Admissions Team may also review previous schooling, academic background, developmental readiness and other relevant information.

The Admissions Team may contact the family to request further documents, clarification, an assessment, interview or additional discussion before a final placement decision is made.

04

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

Yes. International and relocating families may begin the admissions process before or after arriving in Bangladesh, subject to the required documentation and admissions review.

Depending on the applicant’s circumstances, international families may need to provide student passport details, nationality information, previous academic records, parent or guardian identification and other supporting documents.

Previous curriculum and school records can be reviewed to help the Admissions Team understand the student’s academic pathway and consider appropriate placement.

Where a legal guardian is involved, the School may request relevant guardian information, identification and supporting documentation to establish the relationship and maintain appropriate records.

05

HEALTH & WELLBEING

Relevant health information helps the School understand medical conditions, allergies, medications and emergency considerations that may affect student wellbeing and care.

The application checklist includes vaccination and immunization records. Families should provide the relevant records requested during the admissions process.

Families should provide complete and accurate information about relevant learning, behavioural, developmental or support needs. This helps the School understand the learner’s circumstances during admissions review.

Emergency contact information supports responsible communication and safeguarding if the School needs to contact an authorised adult quickly.

06

DECISION & ENROLMENT

Families may receive an admission offer, a request for additional information or guidance related to availability and the next stage of the process.

Where a suitable place is not immediately available, the Admissions Team may advise the family regarding the available options or next steps.

Successful families complete the relevant registration, outstanding documentation and enrolment requirements communicated by the School.

Once enrolment requirements are completed, the School will provide the relevant joining information needed to help the student and family prepare for the start of school.
